Zen is the core of Budhism, the highest abstraction of its philosophy. When I started thinking about a new design/layout for the next version of Creativedesk, it just came up that the design should be minimalistic. That exacltly suited the Zen ideology.Zen says:

        The Dharma, incomparably profound and minutely subtle,
        Is rarely encountered, even in hundreds of thousands,
        of millions of kalpas;
        We now can see it, listen to it, accept and hold it;
        May we completely realize its true meaning.

This, the encountering of the 'minutely subtle' and 'incomparebly profound' is the key, to Zen. SSRP also follows this ideology, of keeping the profound subtle.
